Hair Descriptions

For sale is Asian Straight silky dark brown hair. It has been already cut (on 27/05/2011 by a local salon) and measured 19.5 -20 inches and 3.2 inches circumference pony tail (under the rubber band). I can’t weight because I don’t have a scale. I used Schwarzkopf shampoo and conditioner and treatment for washing once every 4th-5th days or daily when on holiday. Sometimes I used Palmolive leave in conditioner. I wear pony tails most of the times. I usually air dry, but sometimes (if hurry) blow dry on low heat after shower. I never use iron. I have never dyed, bleached, permed or chemically treated my hair. I usually get many compliments on my hair on how long, dark and soft it is.

Personal Lifestyle:

I am 28 years old female medical librarian. I live in a small town in rural NSW, Australia. I and my partner do NOT smoke, and I don’t go to the spot where people smoke. I had less than one standard alcohol drink once or twice a year (usually only drink milk and fruit juice). I am not on any medication and living the best healthy lifestyle and eat the healthy food (NO fat, cheese, cooking cream, desert, ice cream, fries, deep fries, etc.) I take dog and kids for an hour walk 3-5 times a week for my exercise on top of regular house works.

I have sold my hair using this website before.

My hair sold June 10!  $450 covered my expenses and made enough for a dozen orphans to receive nutrition for a year.

If my mailing scale is accurate, and the method for weighing while still on the head works, the hair weighs 5 ounces.
Circumference at the pony tail - 3 1/4 inches.

Virgin hair – never colored, last perm done when 16, now 60!  (that explains the natural appearance of some of that salt...)
No use of hairspray,  weekly conditioning and Moroccan Oil (R)

I regularly take glyconutrients, phytonutrients, and phytosterols. (Those are specialized nutritional supplements that help drive the reason I'm selling my hair - see below)
No tobacco or alcohol consumption.  I don't even take Tylenol!
I drink raw milk from Jersey's - means more Omega 3's, as well as eating grass-fed beef.

A professional cut is scheduled for June 10.  The ends will be trimmed and if purchased before the scheduled cut, I can have it cut to the buyer’s specifications by a professional, perhaps even doing another inch. If purchased after June 10, the pony tail will be sent after June 20th.

Now - the story about why I'm selling my hair:  Four years ago, my favorite hair dresser closed her shop when her husband was dying of cancer.  During that time, I continued to get my bangs cut, but the length kept growing.   When I heard about donating hair, I thought I should just keep letting it grow.  But then I found out they only sell adult hair anyway, so I thought I would sell my hair and give from that income to a charity that helps children who are losing their lives, not their hair, to malnutrition.  See www.mannarelief.org. 

$681 would cover my expenses (posting ads, paying hairdresser, shipping, etc) and be enough to provide life-saving nutritional support for a 20 orphans for a year. (It costs $0.08/day per orphan.)   After my expenses, all else goes to MannaRelief so lots more orphans will be served the more the buyer is willing to pay. I'm also willing to do less - contact me.
