Wood beads are used. The beads are covered with hair. These styles are not easy to make.

It is most unusual. This can be purchased for $125.00 A fine example of a hair brooch, made in the Swedish tradition, which is different than the English jewelry that we see most often. All earring can be worn with clips, by replacing the silver pierced findings with your favorite clip earring, slip the end through the loop. It works and with the right clip, looks just great. This 18" necklace  is beautifully done. This lacy piece was made by Erika Borbos. It is a wonderful woven, red and can easily be worn without the worry of damage. Colors look different when they are woven. Red looks a bit brown and blondes usually get darker. If you wish, you can easily replace the findings on these hair items, but until more original replica's are made, more modern findings are all that is available.
