I think I actually came close to recovering the cost of product over the years
My hair is approximately 25-28" at its longest point
and about 23" to the termination of the thicker part. It is 1/16 under
3" thick.
This is completely virgin, wavy nut-brown hair with a few highlights that
represents about five years growth,
on my male head. It has never been dyed, permed, bleached, curled or
heat-treated (blow dryer/ curling iron).
It has always been washed with Paul Mitchel shampoo/conditioner (every two to
three days)
and deep conditioned with Lamaur Bone Marrow about every three weeks for the
past 2.5 years
after which it is air-dried and combed, often with my fingers.
I am willing to shave my head for the 25-26" side of things if the bidding
goes over $500
otherwise it will be cut at the pony tail for about 23in.
I may be amenable to special request under certain circumstances as well...

I am selling a thick ponytail of fine, straight, highlight-rich virgin hair from a 26-year-old female.
It has never been colored, dyed, or chemically treated. No blowdryers, styling products, smoke or drugs.
I follow a very gentle haircare regimen of washing 2-3 times a week,
applying conditioning shampoo only to the scalp to avoid stripping the ends,
and often using deep-conditioning products. I cut a significant amount (about this length)
3 years ago and donated it to Locks of Love, and have also had regular trims,
so my hair is young and healthy! Ponytail is nearly 4" around at the top, fully 16 inches long
(see red mark on tape-measure), is not layered, and remains full at the ends.
The color is in between strawberry blonde and light auburn; I usually call it "light red"
and get many compliments on the color. Highlights range from pale blonde to fire-engine red.
The ponytail and loose hair pictures were both taken with a flash a few days ago.
The braid picture was taken in indirect natural light this summer.
